
I’ve been coming to Platinum Wellness for over a year now. The classes are friendly and welcoming. It’s difficult to get back into self care and fitness routines after having children, but thanks to Lisa and her team I felt confident to join in and can definitely feel the improvement every week! I feel like the classes have also been easily adaptable to different levels, so it wasn’t overwhelming to come in as a beginner and as I am getting stronger I am able to push myself a little more. Thank you for making it such a supportive environment where I actually look forward to my sessions.

I went to my first over 50s Pilates class three weeks ago. Lisa was not only so welcoming but was instantly interested in asking about particular issues I might be having physically. She listened to what I had to say about the problems I have been experiencing with my neck and was reassuring and supportive about how the class would help.
There were only six of us in the class which meant that we all received individual advice from Lisa as the class progressed. Many classes you go to are very big and the instructor is not really able to give you much attention. This is how injuries can occur sometimes.
Lisa said the class would help with my neck issues and that I could move on to try Reformer Pilates once I am feeling stronger.
I have been to three classes now and am already beginning to notice the difference. I love the way Lisa asks us all how we are and if we are having any particular issues and then adapts the class to what we tell her. She is very professional and experienced at providing individual advice to clients. It's almost as if you are getting a one-to-one session.
I can thoroughly recommend this class if you want to get stronger, toned and challenged in a safe and comfortable environment.

I have been going to Platinum Wellness for a year & a half. Initially I was having personal training sessions & switched to reformer pilates at the start of last year.
I have noticed positive results, feeling more toned, more energetic & my fitness has improved considerably. I really enjoy my time at reformer pilates each week. It's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere & Lisa is a joy. If you want to get fit & have some 'me time' I thoroughly recommend it.

I have been going to classes in the evening at Platinum Wellness for over 3 years since I retired. I was looking to find stretching and strengthening exercises to complement my cycling and frankly to combat the loss of flexibility of an ageing body! I have been attending more or less regularly once or twice a week, mostly with Pilates group classes, but also for Personal Training lessons. I have also taken advantage of the massage offerings for tired legs (from cycling) and various shoulder and back problems. I can honestly say that I have achieved my goals with Lisa and the team and feel that the combination of these classes with my cycling cardio is a great way to stave off the onslaught of old age!
For the classes, I have always felt welcome - the classes are usually mixed and everyone seems to feel at ease. The atmosphere is lighthearted but focused on getting the work done in a fun environment. I always feel energised for having done a class.
I am planning to keep this a regular part of my fitness regime for many years to come. Thanks to Lisa and the entire team.

I have been attending the Platinum Wellness boutique gym since it opened and really enjoy going there.
Apart from the fact that Lisa and Ellie are fantastic teachers, there is a lovely atmosphere there and everyone is very friendly.
Lisa in particular helped me greatly with my knee arthritis by modifying all the class exercises for me, both before and after my knee replacement and certainly helped me recover from this operation quickly. Both teachers are extremely knowledgeable about all the muscles etc and how to help with certain injuries etc.
In addition, there are massage facilities there and a recent sports massage I had really eased some pains I had been having.
I haven’t tried the reformer machines yet but have used much of the other equipment there, to great effect, and there is a wide variety of classes.
I think the prices are comparable with other places, especially if you buy a bulk pass or membership.
I can thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone.

A welcoming space for everyone, but especially new mums! I have done many classes here but since having a baby the mum and baby reformer is my favourite time of the week. Accessible exercises for all stages of recovery and a lovely environment for our baby’s. Lisa is a mum of two so she just gets it!

I started personal training with Lisa to rebuild my confidence after a pretty tough injury that left me with a herniated disc. Her PT sessions were exactly what I needed. She helped me ease back into strength training safely, and with so much care and attention that I eventually found my way back into my yoga classes with a whole new level of awareness.
Huge thank you to Lisa for her time, patience, and all the encouragement. I’m now absolutely loving the group mat pilates classes and actually look forward to coming in each week!
